經查證，新莊區1間娃娃機店，店家竟然將地下室租給莊姓男子暗中經營網路賭博，莊男見目前於是找來長相亮麗、身材火辣的21歲賴姓及24歲張姓女子擔任荷官，以每人每天1200元代價，在視訊軟體上負責跟客人把玩推筒子，參與的賭客加入手機APP的遊戲軟體，下注後押金都會自動抽頭5%，輸贏則是每個月匯款結算，自己則是會在大廳看電視順便監控。

新莊分局中港所接獲線報，娃娃機店的地下室「別有洞天」，前天（11日）凌晨由所長張謝佛率員前往查緝，進到店內就發現一樓客廳擺放大電視，螢幕上的分割鏡頭，清楚監控周遭的一舉一動，原來賭場也怕被警方查緝，佈下天羅地網。

警員順著娃娃機台進到狹小的地下室內，還得走下樓梯，地下室則架起攝影機，還有專業用的棚架，搭配震耳欲聾的音響，電腦螢幕則是秀出麻將牌組，賴姓及張姓女荷官在螢幕前跟賭客玩推筒子，連警員走到身邊了都還不自覺。警方見狀只得直接喝令：「來來來，小姐我們派出所的，你在幹嘛？」。

賴、張2女見到警方大陣仗前來查緝，頓時嚇得不知所措，楚楚可憐的向警方表示，因為疫情期間沒工作，所以才來幫忙當荷官，工作輕鬆又能賺錢，並不知道這樣違法。

警方在現場查扣電腦主機、螢幕、鍵盤、滑鼠、攝影機、麥克風、骰子、麻將、牌組、桌布、監視器、點鈔機、賭資11500元及K他命毒品，並將莊男及賴女、張女3人通通帶回警局偵辦，同時根據當時線上對賭的資料，又查獲另一名28歲的吳姓賭客，4人都坦承賭博，通通被警方依賭博罪移送偵辦，另外其餘曾參與線上對賭的賭客，警方也會逐一查明後通知到案說明，並依賭博罪嫌送辦。
